founding farmers

I'd been hearing great things about the DC restaurant Founding Farmers, so Adam and I decided to check it out. He's not a big fan of "fancy" food, so we usually pick our restaurants accordingly, which sometimes makes eating at rave-review places tough. Founding Farmers absolutely delivered the best of both worlds:  amazing "wow" worthy food without the frou-frou frivolty or miniscule portions of many upscale spots. We ordered three different cocktails, two appetizers, and two entrees, all of which were truly amazing. If you're ever around the area, I strongly recommend checking it out. It's even inspired me to attempt to recreate the flatbread and cocktails at home (results pending).
