Every time I decide to entertain, I find myself looking up the same Google search time and time again: "easy appetizers". When you're preparing a meal by your lonesome, it's hard to keep everything going at once; serving an easy pre-assembled appetizer relieves some of the burden. I didn't even make this Baked Fontina properly (if you have a cast iron skillet, use it as it helps retain heat for a long time), and it was still delicious. I also used some fresh and some dried herbs to make it even simpler. It was flavorful, decadent and oh-so-cheesy.
